Our Team

Paul leads PNC Business Credit in the UK and has 30 years experience in the Asset-Based Lending arena. Paul has successfully set up and established three ABL businesses since the late 1990’s, the last of which was acquired by PNC in November 2010.

In the last 3 years Paul has overseen the growth of the business, with over 60 transactions being completed for commitments in excess of £750million.

Paul is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth in the UK and is a past Chairman of the Asset-Based Finance committee within the industry’s trade association.

With 20 years of ABL experience behind him, Graham holds responsibility for developing National Key Business Introducer relationships for the business complimenting his role as Marketing Director.

Graham leads all PNC’s UK/U.S. cross border ABL deals and works closely with PNC Business Credit’s Business Development team and US Private Equity groups to conclude these cross border opportunities. With over $250MM of cross border transactions completed so far this capability is seen as a key growth area for the group.

Graham is a member of the UK chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and attends the main ACG Capital Connection events held in the U.S.

David has over 27 years ABL experience and has held a variety of senior risk and operating roles within the industry. David is currently responsible for the credit risk management of the PNC Business Credit UK underperforming and exit client portfolio as well as portfolio analytics and works closely with the Portfolio Director and team of relationship managers to ensure the business meets its risk management objectives.

Danny has been actively involved in the Asset Based Lending arena since 1996 having previously worked in the banking sector. In this time Danny has fulfilled a variety of client management, risk, operational and audit & compliance roles.

He joined the business in 2007 and has been an integral part of the development and growth of the business since inception. He has overall responsibility for the main operational functions including legal, compliance, internal audit, field exams & appraisals, IT and finance.

A highly experienced Commercial Finance Executive with over 27 years in the Asset Based Lending Industry, including experience in the Equipment Leasing and Fleet Leasing Industries. With 19 years’ prior service at a global commercial finance company, 9 years at Board level, holding positions responsible for Risk, Sales, Audit and Operations covering both regulated and non-regulated Businesses.

Darren is responsible for the Portfolio of PNC Business Credit UK, enhancing relationships and supporting customers with their growth needs. Darren oversees the national Portfolio team driving a culture of service excellence with strong credit risk processes.

Lea is responsible for the HR and Client Operations functions of PNC Business Credit, UK. Whilst overseeing all aspects of HR Lea is also responsible for the Client Operations teams to ensure both robust credit risk processes and service excellence for our customers.

Lea has been in the Asset Based Lending Industry for over 17 years including 7 years with PNC, holding senior roles within Portfolio, Client Operations and HR. An experienced leader of people with a strong track record of service delivery and continuous improvement.

Drew joined PNC Business Credit in September 2016. For over 13 years Drew has successfully been originating and executing structured ABL deals in the UK Mid-Market. His ability to build strong long term relationships with professional advisers and the private equity community means he continues to be recognised as one of the regions leading Asset Based Lending professionals. He is a qualified accountant with 15 years in professional practice, including Corporate Finance Lead Advisory behind him.

He has worked extensively with Private Equity and has a wide network of contacts in the advisory space and a strong track record for deal execution, including the recent acquisition of Carter Cabin Hire for Connection Capital.

Byron joined PNC Business Credit in December 2015 from a boutique corporate advisory firm specialising in working capital financing. Prior to this, Byron worked for Lehman Brothers and before that Investec. He graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA Hons in Finance and Accounting.
